21.7.19 - Kidman Way Motel, Hillston to Home

Shower, pack and breaky delivered to the door. How luxurious!

Then a little phaffing- cleaned the driving  lights AFTER we needed them.

Saw MANY Roos on the leg between Cobar and Hillston. Only one close call for Stef who was in the lead. Good driving lights for Stef and I helped, but awfully dim when lights dipped for oncoming vehicles. When Meg phoned ahead to motel from Cobar we were advised to eat in Cobar as there is no food in Hillston. Gotta say there wasn’t much in Cobar either. Anyway some fried stuff from servo for me and Subway for others.

Donning the new "Big Red Bash' merch...or was it the only clean clothing left after the shower?

Both Sarah and Steve, looking schmick in their Big Red Bash Jackets.

We left Hillston at 8.40 and drove through lots of healthy looking crops and little towns.
The road today.
Crossing the Murrumbidgee.

Then there was a solar farm with many many tilt panels.
Not a great shot on mobile out window at speed.
A bridge shot.

A quick loo stop at Darlington Point.
Milani called lunch Mc Donald’s, so we stopped at Shepparton

Quick farewell stop just past Kalkallo to see Sarah and Steve off as they were heading via the ring road to drop Sarah home, we were going via Greensborough and Eastlink.
Clothes soaking in the bath.
Arrived home about 5 to get a bit unpacked.
